Prince Ighoovie Majemite is an accomplished electronics engineer and IT consultant with an extensive career spanning over four decades. He began his journey at George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology in Toronto, Canada, where he graduated in Electronics Engineering in 1981. He furthered his education with a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Management Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO). His early career saw him serve in the military as an anti-aircraft instructor, utilizing advanced Marconi computers and radar systems. He then moved into the industrial sector, joining Ajaokuta Steel Company before transitioning to the oil and gas industry in 1992. As Technical Services Manager for REBOLD International Ltd, a subsidiary of Rebold UK, Prince Majemite spearheaded numerous technical projects with industry giants like Shell, Chevron, and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, deploying cutting-edge technologies such as DCS, SCADA, and biometric security solutions.
In the years that followed, Prince Majemite took on significant roles across various sectors. From managing SAAB radar tank gauge systems for NIGERCO Nigeria Ltd, to serving as a consultant for Deloitte and Touche on the National ID Card Project, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead complex technology initiatives. Currently, as CEO and Chairman of Primost International Ltd, he continues to provide ICT consultancy services for high-impact projects, including the National Electronic Labour Exchange (NELEX) and the Nigerian Content Development and Management Board. A Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society and a respected leader in the ICT field, he has held numerous leadership positions, including Chairman of the Telecommunications Industry Consumer Advisory Forum (ICAF) of the Nigerian Communications Commission, and continues to contribute to the advancement of the IT and oil and gas sectors in Nigeria.
